Eroica Japan Cycle Flea Market at GCT 2024 on Dec 1st!

Join us on December 1, 2024, as Eroica Japan participates in the multi-sport event *Grand Cycle Tokyo 2024* in Tokyo! Our Cycle Flea Market will take place at the Aomi NOP venue, the finish area for the Rainbow Ride, which will feature a once-in-a-lifetime ride across the closed Rainbow Bridge.

In addition to our booth, showcasing exclusive Eroica Japan merchandise, you'll find 30 other exciting cycling-related booths (tentative). We’ll be offering unique apparel, vintage cycling parts, and other treasures for cycling enthusiasts. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the charm of Eroica Japan firsthand!

Mayor Masayuki Yamashita of Izuno-kuni City has graciously accepted the position of Honorary Village Mayor of Eroica Village in 2025.

As a supporter of Eroica Japan's philosophy of promoting tourism in the Izu Peninsula and raising awareness of cycling culture, Mr. Yamashita has taken on the role of Honorary Village Mayor in 2024. Through the countdown to the ride start, engaging speeches, and generous hospitality towards attendees, he has greatly energized the village. Thanks to Mr. Yamashita’s contributions, wonderful exchanges between riders and local residents, as well as cultural experiences of the Izu Peninsula, have been realized. Eroica Japan expresses its heartfelt gratitude for his willingness to serve as Mayor in 2025 and will continue to promote Japanese cycling culture and the charm of the Izu Peninsula to the world.

NEW Eroica Village - Izu Nagaoka Onsen - Izu no Kuni City

Izu Nagaoka Onsen is a hot spring area consisting of the ancient "Kona Onsen," with over 1300 years of history, and "Nagaoka Onsen," which was established in the Meiji era. It is a place deeply connected to historical heros such as Minamoto no Yoritomo and Hojo Yoshitoki. The area is also known for traditional festivals like the "Nue-Barai- Matsuri" and the "Genji Ayame Matsuri" making it a culturally and historically rich hot spring destination.

With convenient access from various Internatinal Airports such as Narita(NRT), Haneda(HND), Chubu Ceentrea(NGO) and Kansai(KIX), by the Shinkansen and Tomei Expressway, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of accommodations and day-use hot springs, ranging from traditional inns that reflect history to modern hotels, centered around the "Izu Naka Village." Immerse yourself in the Showa-era retro scenery and relax in this luxurious, healing environment for both body and mind.

Regarding Accommodations:

- The official hotels for Eroica Japan are Sakanaya Stay (the event venue) and Kona Stay Izu-Nagaoka (cycle hotel). However, Eroica Japan does not provide support for accommodation arrangements. Please make your own accommodation arrangements through booking websites or by phone.

- For questions about whether bicycles are accepted at the accommodation or parking availability during the event, please contact each accommodation facility directly.
