• Depart Gaiole in Chianti every hour from 17:30 to 21:30, bus stop in front of the Church.

PROGRAMME OF EVENTS

Friday 30 SEPTEMBER  and Monday 3 OCTOBER

10:30 - CASTELLO DI BROLIO - Guided tour of the Brolio Castle and the Ricasoli Cellars with lunch at the Osteria 

The tour starts with lunch at the restaurant at 12:30. Transfer to the castle by own cars. Appointment at the ticket office to meet the guide at 3:00PM. The tours includes the family chapel and the Ricasoli Collection and gardens (approximately 1 hour). The guide will accompany the group to the winemaking plant and the large cellars where the wines mature. Finally, there will be a tasting of the estate's premium wines in a private room.

LUNCH at 12:30 pm at Osteria di Brolio with set menu:

• Fusilloni pasta with mushroom sauce and Tuscan Pecorino cheese
• Braised beef cheek, potatoes and broccoli
• Tiramisù
• Wines included: CHIANTI CLASSICO BETTINO 2019 and GRANELLO PASSITO 2019

RICASOLI 1141 will welcome all “Eroici” with the usual torch lit passage along the road that leads up to Brolio Castle, one of the most amazing moments on the route.

Parking available in front of Eroica Caffè for all those who wish to watch the cyclists pass by.

Sandwiches and wooden boards with Tuscan cold cuts and cheeses, roast pork and other specialties can be ordered all day. Ample outdoor space available to guests; recharge point for electric bikes.
