​​Eroica Montalcino, the race once called Eroica di Primavera, reaches its seventh edition.

And this important milestone, which knows no crisis of attachment and recognition towards an event that has given importance to an increasingly vast territory, arrives at a very happy moment for Eroica Italia. Our commitments, the heroic ones, that have opened this 2023, from the experience at the European Parliament to the recent adventure of Eroica Juniores that involved Siena and many small villages in the province, culminating in the third edition of the Coppa Andrea Meneghelli with the finish right here, in Montalcino's Piazza del Popolo, are signs of significant growth.

Montalcino is a town with an ancient history that reflects on the future of cycling. Cycling that involves the recovery of old traditions, winking at modern and youth cycling, uniting these two aspects that do nothing but give us energy to face changes and fulfill new dreams to build increasingly engaging experiences and events.

Ideally, Eroica Montalcino marks the beginning of a long ride that will take us to the 26th edition of L'Eroica in Gaiole in Chianti on September 30th and October 1st, 2023. So it's as if it were the real start, the true engine of the entire heroic movement.

On May 28th, over 2,000 participants will pedal at Eroica Montalcino, and the thousands of people who will be part of the three-day festival will find a town in celebration, welcoming everyone with a rich schedule of events: book presentations, the classic Barba e Baffi contest, Ciclotappo races, the unmissable Eroica Market, and many other activities, including those related to the Ciclo Club Eroica.

Our strength is certainly to treasure the extraordinary opportunity to live in an open-air museum and open the doors of this enchanting place to enthusiasts of historical cycling, offering them many reasons to come back and visit us every year.
