SHORT ROUTE FUJI 80
Eroica Japan proudly recommends "FUJI 80," a condensed 80 km route showcasing the charm of the Izu Peninsula. After the start, cyclists will pass through Kanogawa Sakura Park, cross the Shuzenji Bridge, and take a break at the renowned "Tofu-ya" Ryokan in Yoshina Onsen. The gentle climb leads over the Kazahaya Pass, aiming for the dynamic mountain ranges of the West Izu Skyline. The highlight features a view of Mount Fuji along the same West Izu Skyline as the Samurai and Odoriko routes. The magnificent scenery, with Sakura adorning the mountains, the sacred peak of Fuji, and Suruga Bay, will surely resonate with the hearts of riders. After crossing the mountains, cyclists can enjoy a leisurely ride along the beautiful coastline of Numazu. The charming scenery of traditional Japanese fishing villages and the culinary delights of Izu warmly welcome riders. On April 12, the day before, a "MAPEI Friend Ride" will also be held on the same route, where beginners eager to experience the essence of Eroica are encouraged to join. This route is also recommended as a practice course for Samurai and Odoriko riders.
