SHORT ROUTE FUJI 80
The "FUJI80," proudly recommended by Eroica Japan, is an 80km compact route that makes accessing the stunning Fuji Mountain view from the West Izu Skyline a breeze, becoming one of the highlights of Eroica Japan. After the start, riders head south along the Kano River, taking a break at the renowned Yoshina Onsen inn To-fuya, A gentle climb brings them over the Kazahaya Pass, and they’ll conquer the dynamic mountain ridges of the West Izu Skyline. The grand scenery of Mount Fuji, surrounded by the splendid cherry blossoms and the Suruga Bay, will deeply stir the hearts of the riders. After crossing the mountains, cyclists will leisurely ride along the beautiful coastline of Numazu. The traditional Japanese fishing village scenery and exquisite local cuisine will warmly welcome riders. The "MAPEI Friend Ride," which also follows this route on the previous day, April 12th, is open to those wishing to experience the spirit of Eroica with modern bikes. It is highly recommended for beginners eager to enjoy the essence of Eroica.
