The beauty of fatigue and the thrill of conquest

Just under 100 km of pure dreams. In the heart of the Gran Sasso National Park, across the boundless plain of Campo Imperatore, the "little Tibet" of Italy.

A fascinating and uncontaminated landscape where man and nature find their dimension.

The route has an important difference in height, but with climbs that can always be pedaled and long stretches of dirt roads.

We climb up to the high mountains, and then return to the wonderful villages of Santo Stefano di Sessanio, Castelvecchio Calvisio, Castel del Monte and Calascio, with its imperious fortress as a frame, to taste the famous arrosticini and taste a good glass of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.
