NOVA Eroica becomes Epic. For the first time the Eroica world, in its NOVA soul, turns to the growing world of ultra with a new proposal: Nova Eroica Epic Route.
On Saturday 22 June the first edition will take participants along those roads that made the Eroica great, going further: 290km and 5500 meters of altitude difference. If the distance changes and requires adequate legs and heart, the spirit remains the same: Race Ride Relax. Therefore a formula that combines "the beauty of effort and the taste of enterprise" with a component of fun, informality and sociability which are essential in the gravel culture that has established itself in recent years. The route passes through Val D'Orcia and Chianti and was created to offer an immersion in the most beautiful landscapes and roads of Tuscany, bringing together iconic places such as the climb of Monte Sante Marie and Castiglion del Bosco or the iconic white road of the Castle of Brolio to panoramas and contexts waiting to be discovered. An experience that will lead athletes to pedal even at night, also testing their ability to manage fatigue and tiredness.

CHECK-POINTS:
The EPIC Nova journey will be certified with specific checks registered in the Road Book delivered with the technical envelope. The check-points are located in:
- Gaiole in Chianti (Km 82)
- Radi (Km 130)
- Montalcino (Km 200)
- Montisi (Km 255)
Additional checks may also be foreseen along the route.
