IV Edition of Accademia Eroica: a unique training program
What is Accademia Eroica?
Accademia Eroica is a project created to spread the values and message of Eroica within training programs aimed at future sports managers and professionals in sports communication. Now in its fourth edition, Accademia Eroica offers a unique opportunity for hands-on training, involving young men and women in the behind-the-scenes activities of the XXVII edition of L’Eroica in Gaiole in Chianti.
Who are the participants?
Participants come from Master's programs at universities or private institutes and include individuals already active in the fields of sports and sustainability. Among them are athletes seeking to pursue a dual career, combining their sports careers with professional training to understand how an international event like L’Eroica is organized and managed.
The Training Project
Under the expert guidance of Alessandra Ortenzi, the group will be involved in various activities of the organizational machinery of L’Eroica. Special attention will be given to environmental sustainability, a central theme in the world of vintage cycling, with a focus on the Sustainable Cycling Manifesto, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security and presented during the Eroica Montalcino edition last May.
Key Program Themes
● Designing the sustainability of a sporting event
● Communicating environmental sustainability through cycling
How to Participate?
There is still time to join the project and secure one of the last available spots. If you are interested, send an email to [email protected] with a brief bio and your CV.
