Some of the themes always linked to the world of Eroica are the foundation of the thinking of the generations of adults of tomorrow. Many companies invest time and energy in building awareness towards environmental protection.
And it is from this shared thought that Eroica continues the partnership with Roy Roger’s, based on circular economy and environmental respect.
Indeed, by its very nature, the world of Eroica is an example of circular economy: from the recovery of old bikes to clothing, every small detail speaks of a particular attention to the environment. Eroica has always been a witness to a way of life that promotes good practices that should be spread as a sustainable lifestyle, as a commitment to respecting traditions and the environment.
Also this year, Roy Roger's for Eroica has produced the race bibs contained in the technical envelope that each participant will receive upon registration for the XXVII edition of L’Eroica on October 5 and 6, 2024.
Roy Roger’s, an Italian clothing brand founded in 1949 in Campi Bisenzio (Florence), famous as the producer of the first Italian blue jeans, has chosen to use recycled fabric: a secondary raw material that has been used for the manufacture of the race bibs on which the numbers have been printed using eco-friendly ink.
As every year, Roy Roger’s supports a non-profit organization through the project and participates in Eroica Montalcino. This year, the AVIS Toscana logo will be featured on the race bib, in support of all initiatives aimed at raising awareness about blood donations.
The technical envelope containing the race bib with the assigned number can be collected from Wednesday 2 October, at the ex Cantine Ricasoli building.
