Tour de France Femmes Ride

The Eroica Valkenburg weekend starts on Friday, June 28, with the 'Tour de France Femmes Ride'. This ride is exclusively for Eroica riders who have registered for it and pays tribute to Leontien van Moorsel's successes in this region.

Leontien van Moorsel won the World Time Trial Championship here in 1998 and the Amstel Gold Race in 2002, where she is currently the race director for the women's race.

During this ride, we pay homage to the Tour de France Femmes 2024. In Valkenburg, the start of the 4th stage is on the program, where we will climb the Geulhemmerberg, Bemelerberg, and Cauberg, and then take a break at Landal Kasteeldomein De Cauberg.

You can pick up your start belongings on Friday 28 June at the event location between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM. (Geulhemmerweg 32, Berg en Terblijt) Mention that you are a participant of the ‘Tour de France Femmes Ride’ at the information desk. Then you will receive your participation bracelet and we shall start around 7:00 PM together.
