MAPEI FRIEND RIDE 30 12-APR
The Eroica Friend Ride, held on April 12, 2025, is an exciting event where participants can enjoy the new "SAKURA30" short course introduced by Eroica Japan. Open to all types of bicycles, including modern bikes and e-bikes, this gentle short route allows riders to immerse themselves in the iconic scenery of the Kano River, a symbol of Izunokuni, and the gem-like beauty of Numazu, framed by Awashima Island.
This elegant ride showcases another charm of classic bicycles: the joy of cycling in style. The route is predominantly flat, making it accessible to various types of bicycles, including classic models like penny-farthings and tandem bikes. Dress up, ride with elegance, and savor the stunning landscapes of the Izu Peninsula.
After the ride, participants can look forward to the Eroica Japan Parade (held at 15:30 at the Kano River Kamishima Park, "Kawa no Eki Izu Jo-yama" ) and the evening festival "CIAO EROICA" (starting at 18:00), providing a wonderful opportunity to interact with Eroica riders. It is also the perfect warm-up for riders participating in the Eroica main event.
