Eroica Montalcino is a historical leisure-cycling event dedicated to cyclists wearing vintage or historically inspired cycling gear, on historical or vintage-style bikes.

Eroica Italia ssd has a collection of Vintage Bicycles that are registered in the Register of Heroic Bikes and conform to Eroica rules.

ART.1 DATE and PLACE

The Eroica bike shop will be open in Piazza Garibaldi in Montalcino   

Friday 29 May 2020 from 17.00 to 19.00

Saturday 30 May 2020 from 9.00 to 19.00

Sunday 31 May 2020 from 7.00 to 21.00

ART.2 HOW TO HIRE A BICYCLE

Bicycle hire is subject to the acceptance and signature of the disclaimer at the moment of the pick up. 

The signed terms must be provided when collecting the bicycle at the Eroica bike shop.

ART. 3 COST OF BICYCLE HIRE

Bicycle hire costs €100 and includes:

Use of the bicycle for 3 days

Bike-fitting / set-up

1 repair kit (1 tyre or inner-tube and repair tools)

Bike wash upon return

ART. 4 HOW TO BOOK AND PAY

The bicycle can be booked exclusively on-line by completing the Form on the website. A communication will be sent confirming availability of the bicycle. Once received, it will be possible to complete the booking by making the payment by credit card on-line.

ART. 5 CANCELLATION

Should an entrant be unable to participate in Eroica Montalcino, the rental fee will not be refunded. However, it is possible to cancel your rental by sending an email to rent@eroica.cc by 10 May 2020.

The Organisation reserves the incontestable right to judge whether a cancellation is the result of “an objective impossibility to participate because of injury”, as documented by a medical report.

In cases recognised by the Organisation, the rental fee will be considered valid for the 2021 edition. This fee is strictly personal and is non-transferable. It will only be valid for the year following the year of cancellation. Should the cyclist fail to participate again, the fee will be forfeited.

Any complaints must be sent by email to rent@eroica.cc within 10 days of the event.

ART. 8 CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT 

If, for reasons of force majeure, the event does not take place, the bike rental fee will not be reimbursed but will be considered valid for the following edition, as will the registration fee.
