MAPEI RIDE - Open to All Bike Types on Apr 12th

A special event sponsored by the legendary European bicycle brand MAPEI, the MAPEI RIDE will take place on 12 April! You can take part with any type of bike.

The highlight of the event will be the MAPEI PARADE, which will take place on the "STRADE BIANCHE" created by MAPEI and Taisei Rotec's innovative technologies. This "white road", which symbolises the spirit of Eroica, is the first cycle route in Japan to be built with CO2-absorbing, resource-recycling "granular porous concrete", developed by the global construction chemicals manufacturer MAPEI and the cutting-edge technology of Taisei Rotec.

This innovative concrete absorbs and fixes CO2 from the atmosphere, significantly reducing environmental impact. It also provides a smooth and comfortable ride, and the beautiful white surface improves night-time visibility and reduces surface temperature rise in summer. This design is also safer for small children and pets.
