The Beard and Mustache contest is back in Montalcino powered by PRORASO.

As every year in Piazza del Popolo, the Proraso Barber Shop station will be set up, available to heroic beards and mustaches equipped for a dedicated session of grooming and, of course, to prepare for the legendary "Beard and Mustache" Competition.

At the Proraso Barber Shop, you will find Alessio & Stefania. Known as the "Picasso" of beards by many, Alessio will offer vintage-style beard and mustache maintenance services, seating clients in the original barber's chair for a relaxing experience. Stefania will provide retro hairstyles and braids to the ladies, all in the most beautiful square of Montalcino. Both activities will be free, but spontaneous donations to Alessio & Stefania will support the Casa Thevenin in Arezzo, an institution that welcomes minors in difficulty and victims of violence.

The ritual of the "Beard and Mustache" Competition is an unmissable event that reveals all the characteristics of the heroes who defy time and recreate a style reminiscent of the epic cycling years. Each hero will showcase their personal interpretation of how they believe heroic beards and mustaches should be, adapting them to their attire and their bicycle always in tow.

From 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm - setting up the exhibition area of the Proraso Barber Shop - Piazza del Popolo

6:30 pm - distribution of gadgets to the volunteers of the Eroica Montalcino organization - Piazza del Popolo

Saturday, May 25th

From 9:00 am to 8:00 pm - opening of the Proraso Barber Shop - Piazza del Popolo

6:45 pm - awarding of the "Beard and Mustache" Competition
