Terra Eroica: cycling all year round on the permanent routes of Eroica

Almost three decades ago, in Gaiole in Chianti, classic cycling was portrayed as a true return to the origins of a sport that has spanned generations, wars, and rebirths. From humble beginnings, a mighty tree has grown, embracing three world-renowned events: L'Eroica, Eroica Montalcino, and Nova Eroica, each offering a unique experience to delve into the soul of these extraordinary places.

The legendary white roads, made famous by L'Eroica worldwide, wind through breathtaking landscapes, among the vineyards of Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino, amidst the artistic and cultural richness of the city of Siena, and the charming villages of the Crete Senesi and Val d'Orcia.

Thanks to the ambitious Terra Eroica project, it is now possible to savor heroic emotions not only on event days but throughout the year, thanks to the 2 Permanent Routes of Eroica that accompany the cyclist on a 290-kilometer journey.

The routes are suitable for cyclists of all levels and types of bicycles: whether you prefer the tranquility of assisted pedaling, the challenge of gravel, or the timeless charm of vintage bicycles. And as you pedal, you are enveloped by the warm Tuscan hospitality, with agriturismos organized for bike lovers, traditional trattorias, family-owned B&Bs, and charming hotels.

In Montalcino, you will be able to find more information at the stand located at the Teatro degli Astrusi in Piazza Garibaldi with the following hours:

• Friday, May 24th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
• Saturday, May 25th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm
• Sunday, May 26th from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
