The Eroica mindset takes the mic
On October 4 and 5, 2025, the kids from RADIO IMMAGINARIA are back on their bikes along the 'strade bianche' of L'Eroica in Gaiole in Chianti, bringing all the energy and passion of a unique event to the airwaves.
While one team will be in the saddle, crossing the heroic landscapes, a group of young speakers will provide live radio coverage of everything that happens, giving a voice especially to the teenagers present in Gaiole.
The interviews and real-time updates will be broadcast from the RiMuflo, a 1970s Renault 4 that the kids from RADIO IMMAGINARIA have transformed into their incredibly heroic flagship vehicle, a symbol of creativity and adventurous spirit.
What is the “Eroica mindset”?
According to RADIO IMMAGINARIA, the Eroica Mindset is an invitation to face life with courage, hard work, and determination:
“Now you’re probably asking yourselves: why should we push ourselves? Why, when we could easily avoid it? Because we must. The future demands it, and the bicycle is the perfect tool. We don’t know if heroic cycling will ever become an Olympic discipline, but for us, it already is. Our effort, our sacrifice is needed. We need to find our challenge and tackle it right away. The world needs superheroes. Be heroic! Choose which hero you want to be, prepare your uniform, your unsuspecting hideout, and hop on your chosen bike, letting this mentality carry you forward. Many will call you crazy, but in reality, you're about to save the world. Embrace your own personal version of the heroic mentality.”
The Eroica Mindset thus becomes a genuine philosophy, where every pedal stroke, every sacrifice, and every conscious choice contributes to making the world a better place.
