Roy Roger’s and Meyer Foundation
Eroica has always been a spokesperson for fundamental values that inspire new generations, paying particular attention to environmental protection. A commitment shared by many companies that invest resources and energy to build greater awareness on these issues.
The partnership between Eroica and Roy Roger’s is based on these principles, founded on the concepts of circular economy and respect for the environment. The world of Eroica, in fact, is by its very nature a concrete example of circular economy: from the recovery of vintage bicycles to clothing, every detail tells a story of sustainability and attention to the territory. Eroica has always promoted a lifestyle that rediscovers the good practices of the past, transforming them into tools of awareness for the future, with an approach that combines tradition and respect for the environment.
Also for the 2025 edition, Roy Roger's renews its commitment alongside Eroica by producing the official bibs contained in the technical envelope that each participant will receive upon registration for the IX edition of Eroica Montalcino, scheduled for May 25, 2025.
Faithful to its philosophy of sustainability, the bibs were produced using a second raw material of recycled denim fabric, a regenerated resource to reduce environmental impact, while the race numbers were printed with ecological inks. A further tangible sign of how Roy Roger's, a historic Italian denim brand founded in 1949 in Campi Bisenzio (Florence), continues to promote responsible choices, in line with the values of Eroica.
As every year, Roy Roger's supports its project with a non-profit organization, supporting it through its participation in Eroica Montalcino. For this edition, it will be alongside the Meyer Children's Hospital Foundation, which will have its own space in the village dedicated to fundraising. The goal is to involve all participants, cyclists and non-cyclists, to reach a great goal through small donations: supporting the Play Therapy project for Meyer children!
By connecting to the page https://www.fondazionemeyer.it/eroicaformeyer/ it will also be possible to donate or create your own fundraiser. There are several ways in which it is possible to make a difference with a small gesture.
Furthermore, during Eroica Montalcino, the boys and girls of Meyer will give life to a creative project, creating "heroic" banners with phrases of encouragement to cyclists. The panels will be displayed throughout the village of Montalcino and will be the backdrop to the party that will culminate with the arrival in Piazza del Popolo.
The technical envelope containing your bib with the assigned number can be collected from Friday 23 May, from 5 to 7 pm, at the Complesso di Sant'Agostino.
